More about this game
In Gold Vein, your goal is to mine $400 worth of ore before your 90-second shift ends. You tap boulders in a grid to break them, earning cash based on the rock's tier. Breaking rocks quickly builds a combo multiplier that boosts your damage and earnings. Every twelve boulders broken, you dig deeper, encountering tougher rocks that yield higher base values. You spend earnings on upgrades like pick power, ore value, or an auto-mining hand. The run ends when the timer hits zero or you reach the quota.
Tips
- Prioritize upgrading your Pick Power early. As you dig deeper, rock health increases, and higher damage helps you break them faster to maintain your combo.
- Keep your combo alive by tapping quickly. A maximum combo of four gives a 60 percent damage boost and doubles your cash earned per break.
- The Auto Hand upgrade is great for passive income. At its maximum level of six, it automatically hits a random boulder every 0.43 seconds.
FAQ
- How do I get a combo?
- Break boulders quickly in succession. Each break adds to your combo up to a maximum of four. The combo lasts for two seconds and increases both your pickaxe damage and the cash you earn.
- What happens when I dig deeper?
- Every twelve boulders you break, you advance to a deeper shaft. The rocks gain more health, but your base ore value increases by 28 percent per depth level, helping you reach the quota faster.
- What do the different rocks mean?
- There are three tiers of rocks that spawn randomly. Standard rocks are worth base value, silver-looking rocks are worth 2.4 times the base value, and gold rocks are worth 5 times the base value.
