How to play
- Wait to collect 10 coins so you can afford to buy a new cannon.
- Select a cannon from the bottom menu when it becomes available.
- Place the cannon on a tile you currently own in the bottom half of the board.
- Watch your cannons fire automatically to convert enemy tiles into your team's color.
- Control 80 percent of the board to win the match and defeat the computer opponent.

Cannon Grid Rumble is a real-time strategy game where you fight for control of an 18 by 24 grid. You earn one coin per second and spend ten coins to place different types of cannons on your tiles. Each cannon fires automatically, converting enemy tiles it hits into your color. The computer opponent places cannons to take your territory back. Projectiles can collide in mid-air and destroy each other. A match ends when one side controls 80 percent of the board, or 90 percent on the Challenge map.
Tips
- Straight lasers fire every 0.5 seconds and are great for converting long lines of tiles quickly until they hit an enemy block.
- Watch for golden 2x gates that spawn every 8 to 12 seconds; shooting through them duplicates your projectiles with a slight angle variation.
- Mortars fire every 2 seconds and take 1 second to land, but they convert a 2 by 2 area anywhere on the map.
FAQ
- How do I get more coins to buy cannons?
- Coins generate automatically over time during the match. You earn exactly 1 coin per second, and every cannon costs 10 coins to place on the grid.
- Why did my cannon suddenly disappear from the board?
- If an enemy projectile hits the tile your cannon is sitting on, that tile converts to their color and your cannon is instantly destroyed. Protect your front lines!
- What happens when bullets from both teams hit the same tile?
- If opposing bullets hit the exact same tile at the same time, they cancel each other out. Bullets can also collide in mid-air if they pass within 12 pixels of each other.
