More about this game
In Orbit Hop, your goal is to climb as high as possible by leaping from one spinning planet to the next. You control a fox that rotates with each planet, and you must tap at the exact right moment to launch toward the next safe landing. As your score increases, planets begin to move horizontally and deadly comets streak across the screen. Your run ends if you miss a planet, fly off-screen, or collide with a comet.
Tips
- Planets start moving side-to-side once your score reaches 8, so time your jumps carefully to account for their movement.
- Comets begin appearing when you hit 12 points. Watch the edges of the screen for the red exclamation mark warning.
- If you land on a new planet quickly, you build a streak. Two fast jumps in a row award a +1 Quick Hop bonus.
FAQ
- How do I get a higher score in Orbit Hop?
- You earn one point for every new planet you land on and one point for each star you collect. You can also earn bonus points by chaining fast jumps.
- What do the red exclamation marks mean?
- A red exclamation mark warns you that a comet is about to fly across the screen. If you hit a comet, your run ends immediately.
- Why did my game end when I jumped?
- If you jump and miss a planet, your fox will fly off into space. You must land on a planet within 2.4 seconds or you will fly off-screen and lose.
